With great respect for who she was, what she shared
through her mission services; especially for having heart of sisterhood and
friendship to others, we wholeheartedly remember our fellow sister, Sr. Marianne Geres
Sr. Marianne, Maria Johanna Angela Geres was born on June 27th, 1927 in Vlagtwedde, The Netherlands.
She
committed and dedicated herself (First vows) to the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady
of Amersfoort on March 19th, 1953.
She passed away in community of Agnietenhove, Amersfoort on June 11th,
2015.In the spirit of self-emptying and thankful heart for the goodness of God, she returned to her creator. We say goodbye at the Eucharistic celebration on June 17th, 2015 in the chapel of Mother House, Amersfoort. Afterwards she was laid to rest on the graveyard at 'Onze Lieve Vrouw" Amersfoort.
Sr. Marianne, we remember you forever. May you rest in eternal peace in God’s home.
