With great respect for who she was, what she shared through her life, mission services in the congregation as a whole; especially for having heart of sisterhood and friendship to the sisters and others, we wholeheartedly remember our fellow sister, Sr. Ignatia Sluijter.
Sr. Ignatia, Maria Catharina Sluijter was born on June 17, 1917 in Haarlem, The Netherlands. Sr. Ignatia passed away in community of Agnietenhove, Amersfoort on November 29th, 2015.
In the spirit of self-emptying and thankful heart for the goodness of God, she returned to her creator. We say goodbye at the Eucharistic celebration on December 4th, 2015 in the chapel of Mother House, Amersfoort. Afterwards she was laid to rest on the graveyard at 'Onze Lieve Vrouw" Amersfoort.
Sr. Ignatia, we remember you forever. May you rest in eternal peace in God’s home
